App Lock
Correlate can hide your data behind Face ID so it's only visible to you. The feature is off by default; turn it on in Settings → Privacy → Require Face ID.
How it works
When enabled, Correlate locks itself any time it leaves the foreground — switching apps, locking the screen, or a glance at Control Center. The next time you open it, you must authenticate to see your data.
Authentication
iOS handles the prompt: Face ID first, then your device passcode as a fallback. If your device has no biometrics enrolled and no passcode set, app lock cannot be enabled.
Unlocking
When you open the app, Face ID prompts automatically. If it's cancelled or fails, it won't pop again on its own — tap Unlock on the splash to retry.
Turning it off
The toggle requires authentication in both directions. Disabling app lock asks for Face ID first, so somebody who briefly has your unlocked phone can't quietly turn the protection off.
